It’s been incredibly busy at AY HQ with lots of exciting news and live updates and offers!
My website refresh is live
Firstly, I hope you are all safe and well and that you are getting to see family and friends safely.
Over the last month I have been updating the website so do take a fresh look and let me know what you think. This will have more added to it over the next few weeks and I will also be starting a newsletter. I will be sure to let you know first how to sign up so keep an eye out for this. Live with AY Broadcasting Productions
This month my consultancy and brand content team designed, scripted and created content for a number of brands. It was incredibly satisfying to be working with my team of content co-ordinators which included 3 cameras and a team of editors, producers, makeup artists and runners.
Although we had a crew of 6 instead of the planned larger crew, due to covid we had to work differently, it certainly didn’t cramp our creative styles. If any brands and/or retailers who are looking to get content created for your platforms – we are fully open for business again so do get in touch.
We also managed to help a guy in Uni to give him experience of studio and content creation work (he was an assistant for the crew on the filming day) which was gratifying as so many of our student population are not able to get placements, internships or experience at the moment. We were all pleased to help him and share our knowledge
Mini-Break and a secret project
Recently we enjoyed a U.K. mini break with my 85-year-old father. It was wonderful to spend some quality time in the garden of England – Kent! He loved the National Trust Gardens and I was constantly plant, ingredient and essential oil testing (more of that project later in the year).
Korres Offer

During lock down and going forward we have all learnt the mindfulness pleasure of showering and bathing. It’s something we do every day so why not do it with great products? Certainly, in the industry we have noticed so many people needing to take more care of themselves. If you were one of the millions WFH furloughed or shielding or one of the amazing key workers especially NHS you’ll know that bathing time is a sanctuary as well as a necessity. This collection is great not only for personal use but would make a great gift too. Liz and I will be live on QVC at 9pm and midnight on Saturday 23rd May so do join us if you can.
Farm life
I’ll end with some farm news. Ringo and Zelda have cheered up after losing Ferguson. Although Zelda is not 100% yet she is certainly grateful for Ringo’s company.

Hi Ali, it is so very pleasing to have Korres @ QVC with it being a cruelty FREE brand, I remember in the very early day’s of QVC you advocated that no brand sold on QVC was tested on animals, through no fault of yours how things have changed for me this is a step backwards not forwards its such a shame as I adore Elemis but like the other big brands they are no longer on the list. I trust your expert advice better than anyone else’s you talk in human terms for us to understand, thanks Ali for all your tips and advice perhaps QVC could influence the brand’s that are no longer on the list, talking of Elemis I remember Bon Bon she used to present Elemis and you knew her very well.
