Today’s blog is filled with great savings from Korres, a Percy and Reed competition and lots of free beauty and mental wellbeing advice.
We have made it to the autumn in these tough and strange times, I hope you and your loved ones are well and that you are all feeling safe in your home and work environments. It’s been a while since my last blog but behind the scenes of my social, TV and press work, my consultancy work has exploded with so many beauty brands needing advice, guidance or an industry sounding board.
LOVE THE LITTLE THINGS
With life in general taking longer (as I’m sure you have all found) it’s been a very busy time while also supporting family and friends! Some of my recent great finds have been dominoes, with my mathematically brained father. It’s impossible to win when he has, like Carol Vorderman, statistically worked out what everyone’s hand is likely to be!
LIVE WITH KORRES
My live broadcasts on both Facebook and Instagram have been very well received and I love helping you with your beauty questions. My next live will be on Instagram Thursday 8th October 8pm. If you wish to leave your questions in the comment section at the end of this blog, I will save the live on my grid if you’re not able to join that night.
Korres Miracle Milk
I will be inviting Liz Folce into that live for any questions about Korres too and to find out more about the ethos of this established brand so do follow me and join in. I’ve had great results testing the Korres Multi Vitamin Miracle Milk which has just had its European launch. I particularly would recommend for sensitive skin on hands and face but it’s also great for sensitive skins caused by masks too. Available in a 200ml size for face and body you can buy it now here.

You can also take a listen to my Korres tutorial to find out more:
PERCY AND REED
As an industry judge I was thrilled to give Percy and Reed more awards with Woman and Homes 2020 beauty awards. As part of the esteemed judging panel they are so highly thought of by industry insiders, simply because the products really work and deliver modern finishes. I also featured them in my top 5 in my Platinum Magazine article. You may be interested to know that they have a special one day only offer you can buy now here. It’s available until Wednesday night or until stocks last.

I have a competition running over on my Facebook and Instagram. Head over and enter before the competition closes on Tuesday 06th October at 5pm. I will be on QVC with the co-founder, Paul, at 4pm on Wednesday 7th but do buy early with such a discount it’s the best offer yet!

FARM LIFE
On the farm it’s been pretty quiet with COVID as the animals have either been taking a holiday or ill! With horses needing leg operations, skin cancers on faces, dogs with heart problems and hip dysplasia, I am almost a fully-fledged vet! I will catch you up in the next blog when I have good news about 4 legs
MEDITATION APPS
All of us can feel a bit wobbly at the moment. Do take a look at these free meditation apps which I have listened to. If you like them please feel free to recommend, they have no adverts in (even better). I tend to listen first thing and last thing to keep grounded and calm in these troubled times. So, if you need them I hope you find them helpful. If you would like to catch up on my recent BBC interview then take a listen here.
Look after yourselves and keep wearing masks, hand sanitising and social distancing. We can only do this together. If you’re getting irritations under your masks, check out the tutorial below or head over to my FAQ’s for more free beauty advice.
DATES FOR THE DIARY
Follow me on Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date with my TV times. These will be the most up to date times if you would like to watch my beauty shows on QVC. Wednesday 7th I will be on with the co-founder of Percy and Reed, Paul, at 4pm and 6pm. I’ll be going live on Instagram on Thursday at 8pm with Liz from Korres. I’ll be live on TV on Saturday and Sunday night. Send over any questions on the brands over on my social platforms.

Good Morning, suffer with blocked and open pores on my T-Zone, please may I have some guidance and advice on what to use? And what else I can do to minimise, I use brand name products and have mini facials monthly, but frustrating for me nothing seems to work.
Many Thanks
Paula 👍❤️
Hi Ali, Could you give me some recommendations for a skin in early 40s that is sensitive and rosacea prone, esp in winter months please!
Hello Allison, I would like to know a good cream cleanser that I can use in the evening. I prefer a cream cleanser so I can massage it in.
Thank you for all the beauty education you give us, I have learned so much from you over the years. Stay safe my dear.
Hi, Alison my problem is that my eyebrows are getting long and curling. Am I better of trimming them or letting them grow longer.
Hi alison, I have been a true fan of decleor and alpha h for years and thoroughly enjoyed using these products, but this past 6 months I have ordered elemis collections and ADORE it. It’s so beautiful…the last collection included the British botanicals body wash, body lotion and hand cream and it was DIVINE! it’s the 1st time I’ve ever finished the body wash n body lotion..Will there be any more collections on before Christmas again?…Finally I just want to say that I’m amazed at the enormous amount of work you do with QVC and your other work, you are extremely dedicated and we appreciate your dedication. It was so lovely to hear about you and your dad, its wonderful to have him and enjoy every second 😊..Sadly my mum passed 3 years ago, we nursed her through her dementia and would give anything to have mum and dad back but they’re at peace. I hope you are keeping well and look after you 😊🙋♀️
