BEAUTY INDUSTRY UPDATE
I’ve been working so much behind the scenes in the hair and beauty industry, so I know it has certainly been stressful for clients, employees and business owners alike from small salons to big retailers. Many high street retailers are looking to start re-opening in June / July but will be dependent on individual and company circumstances, not to mention customer feelings.
For all my fellow industry professionals, I’ve been doing some seminars for Babtac which will be up on their website and over on Instagram tomorrow.

A lot has changed since Liz and I last worked together. Social distancing now involves an ocean and Skype – our new communication methods really have been fascinating! Although Liz Folce is in USA we can talk and message instantly in relation to this heritage brand.
Liz is definitely the one to follow for any Korres technical questions and upcoming news. As the Global Brand Ambassador, for decades she has lived and breathed Korres and the family founders are so close to her and her family too. PRODUCT TESTING
I’ve been testing a few products recently which are perfect for hot weather and you can buy them early before they go on air.
- First up is a matte but not drying finish full coverage cc cream from IT cosmetics. No powder or blotting required so it’s fab in this hot weather when we shouldn’t be touching our faces.
- The supersize great value hand cream from Korres with nurturing olive oil is only £15.50
- I’ve loved this new lip product from M Asam. It’s is great value – normally £38, you get 2 for £24.00! They are very moisturising and give colour, comfort, plumping and moisturising combined. The containers are so big they are worth decanting into little pots and sharing.
- Lastly is this fab new launch eye elixir from Korres. With precious saffron, hyaluronic & peptides! If you need something for all eye concerns, from expression lines to bagginess and darkness to name but few of the clinically proven results, this is great! It’s fab for men too, so you could share. It’s lovely and lightweight in this heat but punches high impact results. Some of these products may feature in my live at 5 over the QVC Facebook page, so do buy early if you need them
