Well what a difference a week or a month makes, firstly I hope you and your family and friends are doing ok and I wish you all good health.
‘A week in the life of’
I was featured in the may edition of Horse & Rider Magazine in ‘A week in the life of!!’ Before the pandemic so the 700 miles a week with me buzzing around does read like a lifetime ago!
Join me this week for a ‘Beauty Night In’
Like so many of you I am working from home and having to catch up on tech very quickly! As so many of us are staying at home I wanted to share my “Beauty Night In” shows so that we can do them together.
To celebrate the upcoming The Great Beauty Event taking place this Sunday on QVC, I’ll be going live over on my Facebook page. So, join me for from my home to yours at 5pm this Thursday, Friday and Saturday as I answer your beauty questions and share my beauty knowledge.
You’ll be the first to have the chance to shop my top beauty recommendations (and they’ll all be on 4 easy payments). Pull up a chair grab a cuppa, tell your friends & family, do your beauty and grooming treatments together with me and get the chance to improve your home care routines with my techniques and self-help tips!
Beauty Night In – Line Up
- Thursday 5pm – ‘Beauty to Share’
- It’s great to be able to stay connected by sharing your beauty products, techniques & results with family and friends. (Shop in multiples, salon sizes, and kits)
- Friday 5pm – ‘Feel Good Makeover & Home treatments’
- Growing out gels, nail problems to the new normal of stay at home makeup for FaceTime’s and online meetings with some beauty tools to help.
- Saturday 5pm – ‘Facial Rituals’
- Continue learning about how to develop your home facial techniques and products, looking at multi-tasking products with advanced results that can also work daily
Beauty and grooming are part of ‘me time’ and ‘self-care.’ We have never had more reason to look after our wellbeing and give ourselves time and permission to enjoy our regimes. I’m looking forward to sharing these evenings together.
Our New Normal
Finally look after yourselves, you may find you’re sleeping more (even my dogs are) or need more downtime to process what’s going on in the world and that’s ok. Just doing the basics of finding food can take so much longer. Which reminds me, I tried mindful chef and it’s fantastic for both fresh, frozen, healthy gluten free and vegetarian food – I definitely recommend!
I hope you can join me tonight at 8pm on QVC for my regular Beauty Insider Show, I will be broadcasting from home into the studio again this week.

Wonderful stuff Alison, loving the animal blogs xx
I used to write for Horse and Rider so I’m glad you were in that particular mag! Unfortunately access to my horse is restricted atm but hoping to move to DIY.
