Winter Beauty Tips

We’ve all suffered from chapped lips, frizzy hat hair or pasty skin at some point, as a result of the harsh UK winter weather.  So today I’m sharing a few more beauty hacks to help you beat those winter beauty woes!

Winter Beauty Tips

I was recently chatting to some of my fellow industry judges we were all really impressed with the Sarah Chapman Steamer.  It’s worth a buy for quick 5 min refresher treatment on naked skin as well as using for full facials.  Use while massaging your treatments too! I found it very modern, neat and effective and would definitely recommend (but not for high coloured broken capillaries).

If your skin is stinging from the wind and weather (or you’re playing sports outdoors), use the Jane Scrivner balm.  You can massage onto the skin before sport or going out.  Incidentally it’s great as barrier cream for cycling, running and swimming as well as applying when you get home or if your poorly and need something rich and comforting.

This winter a lip oil has sparked my interest and has found its way into the stable yard! The Korres lip oil moisturises and glosses without been sticky. Normally lip oils sit on the surface only, but this definitely helps your dry lips and works in winter

Top tip – dry lips can also be a sign of dehydration and that you’re not drinking enough water.  I find sparkling water and hot water easier to drink than cold tap water.

Here is a little behind the scenes ‘sneak peak’ from a shoot I was on recently for my Beauty Insider show. Some of the main products which I used on my hair on the day of the shoot were from Percy and Reed. This kit will help to create the perfect glam up look!
